W. Frank Porter, Managing Partner

The managing partner of the firm is Frank Porter. Mr. Porter has over 15 years of varied litigation experience, including the representation of high profile cases that include representing the family of Cherica Adams (victim of the Rae Carruth conspiracy to commit murder crime), the children of Fred Lane ( professional football player who was killed) and even a case with F. Lee Bailey.

A native of northwestern North Carolina, having attended Wake Forest University, Mars Hill College, Southeastern Seminary and Campbell University School of Law, Mr. Porter has resided in Charlotte since 1989.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Porter has been involved in many civic and charitable organizations. Mr. Porter has served on the WTVI board of directors and served as chairman leading the public television station through the transition from analog to high definition. Mr. Porter has served on the Board of Directors for the Mecklenburg County Alcohol Beverage Control Board, Touchdown Club of Charlotte and Hands on Charlotte. He has participated in many charitable projects including Habitat for Humanity, Men's Homeless Shelter and Room in the Inn (providing homeless families shelter during the winter months). Mr. Porter is active in his faith community, where he has served a Sunday School teacher, deacon, chairman of the diaconate, chairman of the personnel committee and church Moderator.

Mr. Porter is a frequent speaker, lecturer and panelist regarding creditor rights.
